The Scrooge McDucks @ Live Nation coughed up what looks to be a pretty sweet deal, offering buy one, get one free on ticket purchases this Wednesday.
“We spend a lot of time listening to fans,” said Michael Rapino, President and Chief Executive Officer of Live Nation. “This week we decided to take it one step further and for the first time ever let the fans choose for themselves what our Wednesday ticket offer should be. Anything we can do to help make it easier and more affordable for more concert fans to get to the show, gets our vote.”

You can’t really beat that because I was actually considering taking the missus to see Jamie Foxx when he came to Nashville this past Saturday. But, when you factored in ticket cost & additional “service charges,” the price was nearly $87 per person. For that price, Jamie would have had to break out Wanda, sign my stub & offered up free drinks. Rat finks. Yeah, I’m salty they propose this today, after the fact that I’ve already missed that particular show. Dah well, I’ll check & see what’s available for upcoming shows & how much room the Visa will allow.
