Jay-Z’s Interview With Tim Westwood
GENERAL By Gotty™ on July 22, 2009 at 10:48 amThe Blueprint 3 media storm is picking up steam. As with any album release, artists are compelled to do countless interviews & give their answers to the questions fan want to know. Jay skipped across the pond to London to sit for an interview with Tim Westwood for Radio One. And Westwood asked Jay some of the key ones.
On Game talking mess about Jay-Z and Beyonce:
“He’s a groupie. Tell ‘Groupie’ to get over it.”
On Chris Brown’s apology:
“We Are all flawed human beings. All a person can do is apologize. Everyone should be allowed to make mistakes. It happens”
On Blocking Chris Brown from Performing at the BET Awards:
“That’s the silliest rumor I’ve ever heard. First let me categorically deny that, that’s not even my style. If I have a problem with Chris brown, I have a problem with Chris Brown. I haven’t said anything live or behind the scenes. I don’t agree with what he did and that’s it. But as far as not letting him perform on BET, that’s ridiculous, that’s stupid and that’s a sucker move. I wouldn’t do it. And people commenting on rumors, that’s a sucker move.”
Also, Jay confirmed that there will be a single with Kanye & Rihanna, releasing as early as Friday. He even spits a few bars and it’s about black…or something.

I was wondering what made you listen, lol. But I see it was giftwraoped for you.
@ 1:07. Westwood gets ghey. He enjoyed those bars a tad too much.
“Get over it, groupie.”
I will be using that judiciously and expeditiously.
“Hey Brock, why did you F7 that computer? I was using that!”
“Get over it, groupie.”
“That was one time and I thought Yung Berg was a really nice guy!”
“He’s a groupie. Tell ‘Groupie’ to get over it.”

A fresh piece of cheddar on the trap.
Jiggaman!
Tim Westwood still letting of those explosions, duly noted.
The new Blueprint is on the way, the skematics are just being finalised, respect the architect.
Peace out, viva la revolution, and a shout out to my kufi sufi’s.
westwood is such a dick rider…why is it like hes the preferred rap out let of the big shots now?
is it because american dj’s are so flaky?
westwood is such a dick rider…

He learned from the best, the Funkmaster himself.
John Gotty and Natasha have a relationship.
Much as I like Jay, this reminds me of the fact that we hype people up too much sometimes.
Chris Brown didn’t make a “mistake”. I mistake isn’t going Brock Lesner on your girlfriend. That’s a felony in all 50 states. And being 19-20 years old is no excuse for not owning it.
Covering for this is weak.
And with all the hyperbole cats engage in about who did what to whom, this would’ve been the ideal time for Shawn to get his RickRoss on and tell a good lie for once. Consider:
“You damn skippy I made a call on Chris. We can’t have our brothers beatin’ on our sisters like this. I see it like the NFL… We family. I’m not Goddell, but I see myself as a statesman in the game and as such I felt it was a good move for Chris to at least lay low and rethink things. So while I don’t have THAT kind of power I did recommend to the powers that be that Chris not perform.”
But nah, Jigga been on that sauce again.
And as many veiled/unveiled shots as Jay’s taken at dudes over the years to call anyone a “groupie” is pretty comical. I get that beef/battles/shots/your momma jokes/whiny narcissism, etc is part of the emcee formula and all, but Jay’s the biggest Biggie/Nas groupie ever.
He needs to go count his loot and release some good product.
This is just a preview isn’t it?
god bless you canseco
