Quality Over Quantity…

It’s not uncommon for an artist to rush a lackluster album, so we’ll let Haystak slide on the clunker that was The Natural II.
Luckily for us, in the midst of mediocrity, the stand-out tracks shine brighter. Such is the case for “My Mistress,” one of the few meaningful songs on the Nashville native’s latest effort. Riding the remorseful string sample and oscillating drums like a steady 747, Mr. Mak Million explains the burden of his cross-country business ventures and how they’ve essentially become his side chick, taking up all his time. The result is an insightful and gracious message to his wife and daughter.
If more there were more tracks like this on Haystak’s last effort, I might be excited for Came A Long Way, which unbelievably drops next week. SMH.

I still listen to Stak’s “Cool People”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21y1s6LReeo
Still one of the truest songs recorded.
still looks like truck driver more than a rapper
but still a good song for sure nevertheless
lol @ greumsy. yeah, pretty much & he seems to have a penchant for referencing waffle house in his raps.
someone can explain “his” beef wit da shady marshall ..? okay he’s white.. maybe also it’s to have buzz, main goal. But i wanna know a lil bit plus ! thx
this sounds like something I’d play on the way to Waffle House, lol
I digs that twangy guitar sound in the background.
I indulged myself in Waffle House a couple times in as many months. Had to quit that. Pants started fitting tighter. I ain’t tryin’ to look like Haystak, lol
yeah, but cool song though. Haystak ain’t my thing, but ain’t no pretense with dude. Real shit.
There’s an ad on the site for Al Harrington shoes from K-Mart, lol…only $34.99…
they got orange in ‘em. Cheap hook-up for the white TSS shirt.
he did a song on the car fulla white boys album about his late grandparents and it touched me…because i could relate
my moms had me mad young and like many families the grandparents have to play a huge part in raising there seeds seeds for them…
if that made sense…. im diggin this track hes got more good songs then bad songs in his catalog.
so we’ll let Haystak slide on the clunker that was The Natural II.

@Greumsters Drink For Free,
The beef is regarding eminem and his wack music. It is in regards to eminem rapping about bullshit that he has never, nor will ever, see and shit that he has not done, nor will ever, do. It is in regards to eminem making it damn near impossible for any other white rapper to be taken seriously as a result of Eminem’s industry gimmick persona. It is in regards to Eminem attacking female R&B singers but not being man enough to battle anyone that is literally a threat (The only rapper he’s ever addressed of value is Cannibus; the rest of his battles have been “L’s” for him) It is ESPECIALLY in regards to the fact that Eminem doesn’t represent for folks that grew up just like him. He has no postive lyrics in his music. He’s damn near 40 and just getting over drug abuse issues. He has daughter that he will have to explain his entire fucktarded catalog of music to once she gets old enough to listen to that trash ass shit.
Here’s some real shit from the greatest white M.C. to ever clutch a mic.
