why is everybody hating on Relapse? okay, there were some duds on there, but the good shit was really good. the only thing better about this song is that he isn’t doing that horrible affected voice.
Here’s my take on Relapse, it’s a good album but not my cup of tea. I bought it, but he essentially hit the reset button on his career.
Now if he follows it up with another album in the vein of The Marshall Mathers LP, I’ll be a little more enthusiastic.

If Joe Budden wanted to Slaughterhouse his life and speak on Em, Em would respond. But Mariah let her emotional ego get the best of her, and Eminem is calling her bullshit, and he did quite a good job. Mariah isn’t quite the innocent little girl she portrays. She is a powerhouse in the music industry. Career wise, Mariah Carey is sitting on top of the pack in terms of #1 hits, money earned, and star power. She’s bat shit insane and allegedly an alcoholic (you had to be drunk to even stomach Glitter, let alone ACTUALLY CO-SIGN IT), but saying that Em is any less of an MC because he’s not battling an established rapper is garbage.
The dude just ripped a Diva, her boyfriend, and pretty much the entire industry and he wasn’t even trying. There’s a reason the best MC’s in the game don’t attack Em, this is a very subtle reminder that Eminem still has that 8 Mile battle mentality, even if Relapse relapsed his career.
