Honey ain’t done nothing since like 2001, but she would shut down any venue worth playing, like, tomorrow.
The problem with Sade is for 4-5 albums she really doesn’t have a bad song. I mean “bad” as in skippable everytime… I know she didnt write all her own stuff and her band was integral to her success, but I’ll be damned if it didn’t all fit like bacon and eggs. (or chicken and waffles for my roscoe’s alum)
no lie, just last week the chorus to “kiss of life” played through my mind. just like maxwell, i can play her music straight through and not (necessarily) skip a track. this is good shit right hurr, thanks kindly.
