Bob music always invokes a smile.
As I’ve told my little Twitter friends, I’ve been under the influence of Dancehall & Reggae for several days now. But it all came to head (||) a couple of days ago.
I was in a restaurant, having a nice dinner & conversation with the lady when I heard “Play I some music…” going lowly in the background. Without fail, I blurted out “Bo! Bo! Bo!” & licked shots from my gun made from a hand gesture. And when I say “blurted,” I mean “said it pretty fucking loud.” Time froze, the waiters & waitresses along with patrons @ nearby tables all looked in our direction.
Needless to say, I was banished allowed to work after dinner. So I sat around listening to the Rastaman Vibration album in full & felt quite content.

LOL. Great anecdote! Sometimes, that’s just what it has to be! One can only imagine what you would have done if “Here comes the boom” or “Get at me dog” would have came on.

hahahaha…that shit is awesome
i must admit that im guilty of screaming “SELECTA!!!” when i can hear some irie shit playing in the background.
I’m prone to outbursts, hence they don’t like to let me go out too often lol. Seriously.
Anyone seen Nas and Damian Marley perform? How about a review of Rock the Bells!!
Bless
^ Use the search function. I know David D. wrote up the Chi-town performance. It’s around here somewhere.
I like what peter tosh (apparently) said about bob marleys death:
“maybe now the rest of us will have a chance to come through”
the musics kind of stained for me after a friend told me that bob marleys music just reminds him of the horrific domestic violence in the home when he was a kid. there was always bob marley playing in the backround…
kind of ironic.
I still say that Rastaman Vibration was the greatest album from Mr R. N. Marley at least IMO
Dayum you Gotty™ I will be up all day today trying to get my fix in.
