It’s Loso In Case You Didn’t Know So…

Who’s excited for Fabolous’ new album? For the realm of Hip-Hop, conceptual albums are a rare delicacy; showing up as often as a periodic comet to give the game some diversity. But as the July 28th release date for Loso’s Way nears, is John Jackson’s fifth LP poised to be an audio motion picture or just the run-of-the-mill gunz n’ butter that Fabolous is known for? Maybe some newly liberated material will help give fans the same vision Fab (and executive producer DJ Clue) have for the project.

I am a sucker for a Ryan Leslie produced track.
Tracy McGrady of Rap.
This dude is extremely overrated and not because he can’t be.
He’ll be Pippen to Jordan’s Bulls without the Defense.
Jordan is Jay-but he’s a Wizard now and Fab is still looking to be his Pippen but more like his Kwame at this stage.

Fab sounds about as mundane as Banks. Sorry, but I’m losing any interest in him @ this point.
“Tracy McGrady” of rap.
I like that.

This lol.
And I think y’all are being too hard on Fab. Dude is just doing what he’s always done, underacheiving, coasting by on sacharrine sweet crossover songs for the ladies. I mean, this is his 5th album, yo. This is who Fab is.

Banks has killed those last few mixtapes he’s put out. Without a deal in place and Yayo still signed up for one more Interscope album, I think the G-Unit braintrust is pushing Marvin a little harder, but Banks still has it. I may need to throw together a “Best Of The PLK Series” comp to prove my point.
Dude is just doing what he’s always done, underacheiving,

LMAO! Like we’re supposed to accept and be content with that

True. If you don’t expect much from him, you’ll never be disappointed. :)

I just don’t understand the raised expectations when dude has consistently proven he doesn’t have it in him to be that dude. I
I think for Fab to even attempt to be “that guy” he would have to steer away from the chick tracks completely. An album full of street singles, or at least an album with a cohesive theme.
Fab is good for what he’s good for. Mixtapes and songs for ladies.
Good write up T.
I like the singles, especially the one with Kobe. The anthem-like one.
Over/Under on how many times he says “it’s loso case you didn’t know so” on the album?
^ At least he’s not spelling his name anymore… I think he’s 0 for 218, 647 on spelling it correctly. :/
Fab is who we thought we was… He aint had me fooled since “Breathe,” he’s got his own lane though.
Slow day my ninjaz???
the r-les tracks are dope, not really feelin the other songs
