XL Middleton is underrated.

Game was recognized back in 2004, when the Pasadena native dropped the bougie “Tea Party.” Via a few pure gems like this since, the angriest Asian’s feel good brand of funk has seen more than a few iTunes mixes. Regardless, with uber-obvious production talent and a smooth delivery, I always envisioned more for the man who once changed his moniker from Extra Large in an effort to solidify his business.

That said, aside from finding his extra dope track from Middle Class Blues on DubCNN, his single has not gotten it’s propers. It’s jazzy, lighthearted, fly, feel-good lounge music with a great throwback hook. Rhythalism-shit.

Do XL a solid. Download it and exchange some internets daps on his MySpace.
