Video: The Slaughterhouse Rules
AUDIO By MZ on June 16, 2009 at 11:37 amI gotta admit I was hesitant to push play on the video above. After the past few days I had at work, Lord knows I didn’t need sit through a contrived skit. Thankfully Jeff & Eric (who were noticeably absent) didn’t disappoint with this one.
And just in case the video above got you a little worried about the groups upcoming album. Here’s a freestyle the group did on DJ Green Lantern’s Hip Hop Nation show on Sirius channel 40. Way too many a quotable is delivered here. I’m sure there will be a few, but I wouldn’t be mad if there was nary a hook when it surfaces.

“our manager hasn’t rape us….. but our record company has. Smoove.” *dead*
SlaughterHouse>Emc
*instigates*
Royce > Joell > Crook (who got a time limit put on him) > Joey
Joey stumbled too many times…he did have some subliminals going at Meth though
*dead*
Joell > Royce > Crooked > Joey
this video is pure HIGHlarity
Yea I saw this jawn yesterday and died lol.
“I’m Joe, but my friends call me Mr Tihyrie” ROFL
Say this yesterday. Joell was hilarious: I’m Joell, so call me Joell.
Do yourself a favor and listen to the freestyle and skip Mr. Tahiry’s part. It was nice what he planned on doing but it didn’t come off and worse yet it was EASILY forgotten in the mix.
(Sorry fam.. you had written lyrics for a freestyle and STILL fumbled them — and don’t kid yourself and think we don’t know your a lurker on this site)
I can’t wait for the album.
Yeah, that video was hi-f*ckin-larious.
I’m the Latin Teddy Ruxpin!!!!!!!
The sense of humor on these guys is definitely the kind that will win fans over. All of a sudden, I’m looking forward to the album.
And though Joey did fumble like a motherf*cker, I still generally look forward to what he brings to the table, though Royce and Joell are straight murder…
“Commitment Rings & Shit” had me rollin’
Pure comedy.
Anotha Time,
MaLLY
The video was funny. But that last line took it to the top. My Pepsi throwback almost came out through my nose yo.
That freestyle, shit was nice. Royce was strictly cutting heads off.
wow if slaughterhouse gets this type production on the LP it will be a classic hopefully producers go out of the way to support them like back in the illmatic days
