It was all good just a week ago
Just last week he released his new single featuring Ms. Keri and things were looking up for the L.E.S representer. Now Tru Life is holed up on the Island for stabbing 2 people, one of whom died.
Robert Rosado — known as the rapper Tru Life — was busted three days ago for the June 15 stabbings that left 27-year-old Jason Grey dead and another man in critical condition, police sources said.
Rosado, 33, is currently held at Rikers Island on murder, assault and weapons possession charges, the sources said.
Tru did have some talent and a whole lot of potential.The Jay-z cosign was really the boost he needed. Factor in the Rocawear checks, the timing and all that, and one really wouldn’t expect this at all.
I will say this much, the big homie K. Strick was spot on with his goon selection.

Haha, I NEVER questioned his goon status. Even his rapping was pretty decent.
What you did have to question was which one was more important to him – the streets or studio? I guess we have a better idea @ this point.
The NY Post left out a major piece of this story… its tru life BROTHER that is the one they want… I don’t know why Tru is on lock down…
