Riddle: what do the George Bush shoe thrower and Final Destination movies have in common? Well if you guessed random fuckery, you can receive partial credit.

Actually they’re correlated by a three year window and while Muntader al-Zaidi gets to sit and think what he’ll do with his penny loafers next time, the rest of us get the pleasure (or pain) of being submitted to yet another Final Destination film on August 28th, 2009.

Notice how they inserted The into the title because 4 sounds like such overkill but there’s not question about it: You’ve seen this movie before. Didn’t the 2nd one also involve cars in the opening Grim Reaper segway?

Still in keeping up with the times, select theaters will offer Thee Final Destination for viewing in HD-3D, meaning you’ll be stuck looking at green & pink until some splatters of blood just so happen to splash in your face. Expect this to be the last movie of the series until the unveiling of The Final Destination 2 sometime in 2012.
