If you didn’t know, Ras Kass is back home. Again. Not only that, but thanks to Mister Lepht, we know the Golden Chyld is already back in the booth. His plan is to release one song every seven days until Fall, then drop a corresponding mixtape with exclusives at the end of each of the four quarters, via his new Internet series called Quarterly.
The first installment is a straight spit MJ tribute. Over an array of choice Hip-Hop samples from the King Of Pop, Rassy’s topical punchlines cease to end, proving Carson’s best rapper isn’t losing his step anytime soon.

Fourhorsemen vs Slaughterhouse
just for the records, the challenge, lyrical war !
Ras is still one of the nicest to ever do it… obviously, over the years he’s gotten slack for his production but lyrically i would put him up against ANY MC. i’m looking forward to this. As far as Slaughterhouse vs. Horsemen that’s a good one. I feel Slaughterhouse is strictly “give me the mic and watch me murder the beat”, while the Horsemen have the ability to hit you with everything from the lyrical/mental/party/gangster.. I would have to put my money on the Horseman (depending on if Kurupt brings his A game)
I hope he stays out of trouble but some of Ras’ best work came when he was on the run lol. If he goes back I hope we get something like that again, haha
