Was the creator the same dude that did the Lupe Fiasco “And He Gets The Girl” video?
It’s funny how the recession gets blamed for poor music sales. May have exacerbated the fall a bit but the music industry as currently constituted is going nowhere but down. That said, I hope I look back at this post and think I didn’t see that turnaround coming. Things have changed and are still changing. Cats have to be more strategeric (sic) on their grind from here out.
I’m not blaming the recession on music sales. I’m blaming it on the piss poor video budgets and the videos that are the result.
& yeah it’s the same guy Doug
My fault for the double response, but the fall of the music sales is more from the lack of back catalog sales. People going out and buying everything they had on vinyl and tape pushed sales into the stratosphere. So between that and a new cycle coming about is why sales are so abysmal.
Yes. Spend an obscene amount of money to make your video and have it shown once (and only once) on a show that your core audience doesn’t even watch… BET’s 106 & Park.
Naledge is SERIOUSLY over looked as a consistent MC.
