This is another nice video from Kanye, but the recession is really starting to rear it’s ugly head when it comes to music videos. These effects were state of the art when Alfred Hitchcock was the master of suspense.

i think i actually prefer the “rough draft” that got leaked - it was a lil’ more artistic in its simplicity. they went for that “sin city” look and i don’t think that worked for this vid.

I dont really like this video, as hot as rihanna is, watching her drive around for 3 minutes and having random sin city effects happen is kind of a snore…I think kanye should stop thinking too hard about his vids and make some normal type shit, it can still be artsy just more realistic
I have always tended to enjoy music videos that were more down to earth and followed the lyrics. Not just flash cuts of hot chicks and obsure bs.
