Jah Cure is one of my favorite artists. His sound slips from mainstream reggae to deep roots and back to dancehall, but seldom disappoints no matter the sub-genre.
Generally I’m not drawn to songs named as such, but “Love you” somehow slipped on to a playlist years ago and hasn’t been left off one since. Jah Cure comes with a grittier, un-filtered sound here which gives the track all the life it needs.
Appropriate for either a slow Saturday afternoon or that special time when you are trying to dupe a girl, Jah cure comes correct again.
