Dreamer (Of Holly Weerd) Feat. B.o.B. & Big Rube - “Ordinary Day”
AUDIO By Gotty™ on June 17, 2009 at 11:43 amBy name, I’m assuming there’s a full, two handfuls of folks who’ve overlooked Holly Weerd’s material when we’ve posted it in the past. If the cosigns, in the form of appearances, from Bobby & Big Rube don’t convince you to listen, I’m sure nothing will. “Ordinary Day” is a melodious cacophony of sounds form the backdrop as the words serve as tour guide to the A. Now I’m left wondering how this didn’t make the Candy For Kleptos mixtape, I don’t know but I’m glad that it surfaced.

It wasn’t left off of Candy For Kleptos. It was on Dreamer’s mixtape called “Perishable Fame Presents Dreamer”. The mixtape has been out since 2007. I’ll upload it the mixtape for the internet to enjoy. He’s got Fonzworth Bentley, Yelawolf, Proton, and Grip Plyaz and the mixtape.
Dreamer’s pre-Hollyweerd projects were pretty dope. not saying that the Hollyweerd stuff aint, of course.
I actually heard Dreamer’s stuff before I heard Hollyweerd’s music. He went to GA State and they played “Spend The Night” on 88.5 (GA State’s radio station) and I didn’t get an MP3 of that song until last August when I stumbled across the mixtape somewhere.
Off-topic, but dAmN….

jump to 7:30 if you’re one of them cut to the chase types.
please upload that!!!!!!!!
Mm, crack in the morning, Thanks for the Hollyweerd
I second that upload request for pre-HW Dreamer mat’l. As a non-resident of the A, it’d be greatly appreciated.

I recommend listening to track #14 Spend The Night. I have played that song 41 times (according to WMP play count).
is B.o.B., as unproven as he is with his no album name changing ass, the ultimate co-sign now or something?
who’s Big Rube?
@ KThundo
SMH @ your comment. First off, this song was made before B.o.B was even a XXL Freshman. Second, you don’t know who Big Rube is? You never heard “Liberation” by OutKast? You never heard any Society of Soul tracks? Maybe you were being sarcastic.
Here’s a rapidshare link to that Dreamer mixtape:

I think it’s time you employ one of the members of The Crew to make a Big Rube post.
C’mon now y’all. Don’t be sounding elitist lol
Rome, good looks on the music(s).
Who’s Big Rube; check Outkast’s Atliens and the song, 13th floor.

once again, anywhere west of Texas isnt that privvy to the south. We appreciate the south & bigger southern artists (T.I., Luda, Outkast, Jeezy, Scarface, and Devin) but thats really where it stops…mention Big Rube, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, or any of the other 5,121,115,123 regionally known artists…this includes regionals from other areas as well. Max B., regardless of how huge he is (…) in the east, would still draw puzzled ass “who’s he?” looks from most west coast heads…as im sure Yukmouth still gets & Crooked I got a year and a half ago from the east & south
as for B.o.B., i was just saying that IMO, he hasnt done enough, or impressed me enough personally, to make it mandatory to give whatever song he’s featured on a listen…in all honesty, the only track ive been fully impressed with that he’s on was that “Change Gon’ Come” track he did after the XXL cover with Charles Hamilton and Asher Roth
@Kthundo
its kinda hard to “appreicate” Outkast in any way, shape or form and not know who Rube is. Hopefully you’ve at least googled or youtubed him by now.
If you don’t know who Big Rube is and you claim to know about any Outkast or any Dungeon Family music at all, something is horribly wrong. Here’s a link to his poem Alphabet Acrobat. Enjoy.

i disagree…i think its very possible to know, enjoy, and appreciate the Outkast discography without paying much mind to the rest of the Dungeon Family
Backbone, Cool Breeze, Lil’ Will, Duke Roald Zilla, Sifu Terrence Walker, Roni, Big Rube, Ray, Rico, Joi, Mello, K.P., Big Reese, Mr. DJ = All 1st Generation Dungeon Family affiliates i know nothing about…as for the 2nd generation, you can toss all of them in this list except Killer Mike
meh, most spoken word about as interesting folding laundry to me
Color Blind Cognac EP anyone?
Big Rube is on at least 3 Kast albums, Southern…, ATLiens, and I think Stankonia. He’s the dude saying, “Outcasts, pronounced OutKast” during the skit (track 13 or so) on Southernplayalistikmusik
