Cosmo > Chuck Norris. The gospel as told via email.
“Me and Mike B did a “dual set” for 2.5 hours at LA’s Do-Over and we recorded it. I think you might like it, it’s kind of fun to listen to…”
Without ever having attended a Sunday Do-Over in L.A., I feel as if I’ve lived vicariously through LC’s words, Turk’s pics, P’s emails about it. I’ve been there but I’ve never heard the music.
And now, I have.

Annnd, as a bonus, my mellow fellow Cam pulled my coat to this audio of DJ Neil Armstrong spinnin’ too. It’s a little low but if you’re just looking for something charged to listen to, this is you.

One of the hottest parties out in LA; between that and going to the Standard!
Who’s Comso?
OED – search here or Google his name or “The Rub”. Him, Eleven & the other name I can’t remember while driving make some of the best mixes, usually b/c of their song selection & understanding the importance of tempo.
@Kthundo – Dude you behind….I went to this one and it was doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooope! missed the second but went to the one house shoes and gaslamp killer dj’ed…..whew…..FIRE!
I was just messin;’ wit’cha, G…
Saw that previous misspelling and had to do my part too keep the site flawless.

wouldnt say i was behind on anything as a id pick having a VIP cabana at rehab in LV the last two weeks over being at Do-Over in an LA second…but now that im back in LA im ready to keep the sunday funday going and plan to attend Do-Over (which im sure is better musically, but cant beat the sites seen at Rehab)
so back to the original question…who’s rollin this week? (and for those who have been, whats the chances of blowing an L while there without getting tossed?)

I harp on this b/c yesterday you were dishing out hell about shoes. yet, you’re risking gettin’ pinched just to try to smoke weed in public lol.
Now, as habits go, which one is better/worse lol?
Good look on the shout-out, Gotty.
For those who are thinking of hitting the Do-Over. Get to that place early, line gets ridicu-nuts. Best part about it, IMHO, is that it’s like a block from the subway (which most in L.A. don’t ride), so you can stumble home after you drink yourself half to death. Works best if you reside DT L.A.
wasnt me giving you a hard time about shoes or a shoe addiction (that was Petey), as sneakers are another addiction of mine as well …me & you were talking about those Filas
as far as getting pinched, i really wouldnt suffer any consequences as far as the law because im a card holding medical marijuana patient (damn this insomnia) and can legally smoke anywhere where cigarette smoking isnt prohibited (Cal. Health and Safety Code section 11362.79.)
…im just wondering if cats light up in Do-Over as many other outdoor party spots turn a blind eye to puffin (ive had no problem in Rehab, Ditch Fridays, and was able to blaze a couple bowls at The Standard last year)
Ahh, the Filas.
To me, outdoor venue = good business for smoking. Indoor = always a little tricky, unless you’re cowboy enough to stand in the corner or a bathroom.
@Kthundo – Dont do it yo. They crack down hard on cats that smoke. Get it in before you enter.
AND GET THERE EARLY!!!!!!! LIKE 1:30 pm for real. OR come with a grip of females and you’ll have no problem.
Not sure if Ill be there…..let you know sunday…lol

i usually live by the same code, but thought id ask the first time around…this code is tossed out the window in Nor. Cal spots as you can usually cop from the security (Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz for example)

Are you fucking serious? That shit is crazy, god bless america.
I gotta get outta south africa man, every time i want to get on the internet my little brother has to pedal the exer-cycle for like half an hour to generate enough electricity.
Each post is running the poor little guy ragged.
security will toss you in a mili-second for smoking.
and you better know someone if you plan on getting in unless you camp out.
