Now this…this is more like it. A year ago, I wrote an open letter to Cory Gunz to figure out some of the odd choices he’d been making recently. But this video seems to right a few wrongs.
Video released within 8 months of the song? Check.
Video that looks like it wasn’t filmed with a flipcam? Check.
Single that isn’t overly simplified? Double-Check.
In fact, this is a straight banger. He doesn’t go for the hard-to-grasp super speed flow but still spits with enough ferocity to appease this fan.
Unfortunately this looks like it’s only a track for his Gangsta Grillz tape with Drama and not an album yet. But Drama is sure to expose Cory (NH) to a much wider audience.

You see the video was a trip down the corridors of his mind, like a snapshot of what goes on within the nooks and crannies within the alleyways of his headspace.

What’s the REAL DEAL with Cory Gunz. I mean son drops so many mixtapes and videos is he caught in that infamous “Mixtape Black Hole”? I don’t understand it if I was him I’d probably quit…not saying he isn’t dope…but he has the “Papoose” syndrome Hot Lyrics, Hot Flow but a dead Ice Cold Career.
