50 Cent – “I’ll Do Anything” Video
GENERAL By Contra™ on June 24, 2009 at 4:19 pmIndustry Rule #4083: Boy bands wear matching clothes.
Curtis is supposedly recording and releasing several videos for his War Angel LP. That gives me yet another reason not to listen to it or him for a while. The main difference between Get Rich Or Die Trying and everything that followed is 50 Cent’s dwindling focus. Back then, that album was pretty much make or break for him, he had the weight of the world on him and several reasons to prove himself. So he buckled down and concentrated on putting out good music.
Now he’s everything from a businessman and an executive to an actor and a video game character. It almost seems like he has his fingers in too many pies to even hold the mic right.
The album (which he proclaims is “close to perfect“) and the answer therein are on the way.

I can say hand on heart, that I have never heard a 50 Cent album, in my lifetime (volume 4), nor do I intend to.
The closest I came was to insert The Massacre CD whilst in my friends car, a couple years back, we opted to listen to Talksport on the radio instead.
Save your brain cells, dig out that old City High cd instead, Claudette and Joell Ortiz rule.
this song blows.
i wonder how many gucci purses it took to make that terrible outfit. lol
^ Word.
I could watch this on mute if 50 and the rest of the fellas weren’t in any of the scenes, but they ruined that by making sure they were in EVERY EFF’n SHOT! :(
This song is the worse on the whole CD, but on the real this CD is hard…it reminds me of his Power of the Dollar/Trackmasters days. War Angel is by far the best mixtape/web album to be released this year and it’s even better than most of the albums released this year. For real check it out if you like the old school 50.
50’s dwindling focus…. or maybe it was our fault, I mean we totally did all start focusing on the numbers a little heavy, no? That always hurts an artist like 50’s popularity.
if i had a nickel for everytime i heard this curtis mayfield sample…
Fuck this bullshit track, time for me to serve a fatwah and hi-jack this thread:-

I agree with ya totally, but I think we liked it cause it was different then. His flow was different then we had heard in a while. Now not so much. It’s been time for him to put the mic down for a while now. I’d rather see him in a video game then as a rapper. Good business man, funny guy………..awful musician
i thot that tape was knock on the real i dnt kno y everybody hatin on it the war angel LP was hot

Jesse’s on point on this one but I think Fif’s focus became about the numbers too. How else do you explain “Ayo Technology”?
I’ll say this much about 50 Cent though, me and him share one common factor. We both got big ass teeth as in you could land a jumbo jet on them big teeth, and that’s where our similarity ends.
But anyway, Pacific Division: Mayor

why yall complaining about this song. Fif told yall at the start…”this for the bitches, ngh”
We’ve always concentrated on the sales, but everyone was putting out good music so it didn’t matter. Now people want the numbers without putting in the work in the studio.
And people were mad at Ja Rule because of what again????
Fukn prrrrrrrrrrrrrrops on the Dapper Dan Gucci swag………..
that shit is futuristic late eighties baddddness. only the illuminati of this hip hop shit know whats up with that stuff.
i was googlin dapper dan custom stuff only yesterday. dr romanelli etc’s a derivativ.
Also re 50’s music… Power of the Dollar is on constant rotation somewhere in my brain at all times.
In other news i cannot find the motivation in me to press play on that clip above which says something about his current music but who cares.
the guys a legend
“And if they hate, then let em hate, and watch my money pile up!”
“It almost seems like he has his fingers in too many pies to even hold the mic right.”
preach, brother.
That War Angel LP goes hard (II). Most people just hatin cause its 50.
This song ain’t the best of the album but the mixtape is dope.
And Fif never fell off in my opinion.
Y’all didn’t heard Revenge of the Bodysnatchers?
Best mixtape ever. Period.
“And people were mad at Ja Rule because of what again????”

Mainly because of his fake Pac-style.
