“When The Shells Hit…”

I caught this earlier today and added it to the playlist before heading to the gym. It got a few listens at the gym, and by half-way through my workout I decided it was a certified banger. When he slows it down a bit, Buck is at his best & he’s able to highlight his music’s best characteristic: himself (no homo). With a mellow beat, it gives room for Buck to draw your attention an almost paint a picture of whatever his topic is.
Out of all the artists that have been driven away by Fiddy, Buck was the biggest loss. This is not news, but it’s always worth restating.

This song is like a third rate version of a Brand Nubian ballad.
Good song, perhaps this is his plea for a mulligan. He know we ain’t forget the spinning G but … we ain’t forgot alot ask Ocf.Ricky we still listen to music. just put out good shit and we still by download and talk about it.
Ha, I thought that too about the intro to it.
Is he maybe tryin to find his way back in. I doubt it, but that g unit shit is old now
Still judging music from that rocking chair on the porch Paw?
the “ping ping”’s killed it for me
@Gotty, come on man, you know it ain’t like that, I’m just saying though, shit sounds like a third rate version of a Brand Nubian ballad. It ain’t my fault it ain’t tight. I’m not saying it’s weak, but at the same time I ain’t saying it’s tight either.
Hey, just asking. You want good good music, go fuck w/that Boosie!
@Gotty, I like the one with the Jodeci sample, it’s a grower.
Not to stray off topic, but does anybody know which female songstress KRS has sampled on this track?

Danny Ferry just gave the biggest PAUSE speech of all time at ‘Bron ‘Bron’s MVP reception. WOW. Someone please post that with a quickness.
When that Killa Cam droppin?
@ Baby Paw: That KRS-One sample is Aretha. Don’t know what song but Its her. J Rocc (Beat Junkies Sound) actually made that track & never saw a penny either. But they couldn’t clear the sample anyway so it got pulled from “Prophet vs Profit” which ended up becoming that “Kristyles” album.
@Shames Worthy, thanks for answering my query.
