I remember it was a cold August night in the hills of Syria and I had just finished writing my third edition of my memoirs when all of the sudden . . a FLASH! I phoned my mother to see if the pots were truly cherished here in this land but she couldn’t give me an answer. She was suffering from lung cancer, it was a pain for her just to get up. I decided it was my time to really go out there and be all I could be and find myself out in those mountains. And boy I’ll tell you there’s nothing like letting the wind flow through the pores of your skin as you feel one with the earth.
