Former college and NBA standout Wayman Tisdale sadly passed away over the weekend to a battle with cancer at the age of 44. Although dying tragically young, he went on to record eight jazz albums during the course of his retirement, including this jam featuring Robert Harris of The Gap Band from 2008′s Rebound.
Life comes with its expiration dates but the music lives forever. R.I.P.

its called “get down on it”…and i dont know how anyone cannot love this song
they had recently done a special on espn (one of the rare good stories from them in the past 5 years) about tisdale and how he had his leg amputated in order to prevent the cancer from spreading; they said that his cancer was in remission, but i guess it returned… RIP
