The iconic 80′s boxing video game “Punch Out!!!” has been reincarnated for the Nintendo Wii.
Yes, the same video game you wasted your adolescence on is back. Obviously with the Wiii, you’re going to be doing the punching and, if you’ve tried Wii Sports Boxing, you know in advance that you’re in for a workout. Characters like Glass Joe, Von Kaiser and King Hippo have returned but sorry no Iron Mike. It would have been cool to see a revamped Mike Tyson, 30 pounds heavier and an ear biting move? Little Mac’s star punch would be obsolete.
The promo video here is hilarious with live action Little Mac and Doc Louis reenacting the classic “Training Run.”
