The NBA Playoffs: Where amazing happens & legends (along with repetitive TV footage) are made.
Truth be told, I have barely watched the first three quarters of Games 1 and 2. I just walk back & forth past the TV & listen, waiting on the 4th quarter. It’s then that the coldhearted killers have stepped up to duel it out, using the three point line & hard and-one’s to the basket as their weapons of choice.
When Orlando finished off Boston, Charles Barkley predicted it would be the Magic over the Cavs. I literally pisshawed the TV and said “Barkley’s a shittin’ fuckin’ fool,” casting it off as him just trying to stir the pot a little. Now, I’d have to give even his lotto predictions second-thought before second-guessing him.

Yup we were all witnesses last night
^ Snitch.
uh i was at work and only caught the last 4 mins of the game. bad as hell tho..
Cleveland got real lucky on this one. The Cavs lost this game a few times, but the officials kept them ahead for sooooo long. It was like a supreme being interfered when they called that travel on Lebron. I think that last second shot won’t diffuse Orlando’s momentum though; they know they beat Lebron & Co. twice at home. I didn’t give The Magic props the whole playoffs, but I’m predicting them and the Nuggets for the finals.

The Magic won with a last m,inute three, just like the Cavs, so I don’t see the series being as lopsided as you say it is. Even though my Cav’s in 5 prediction isn’t likely to hold up lol.
Great pic by the way. I looked the same way last night, yelling at the screen like the players could actually hear me lol.

Must be talking about game one! The Magic went up with a contested mid-range jumper scored by Turkoglu (who knew how it was going down from the start). Once the game was tied and Orlando got possession, they knew they had finally got to where they were trying to get for the past two quarters. When they stepped on the court with the last possession they were smiling. Turkoglu damn near isolated, knocked it down, and walked off the court smiling again. King James is aware he just got lucky, and trust Orlando knows.
I’d rather see Kobe try to prove to his haters and King James’ believers that he is still numero uno just like Commissioner David. Unfortunately, I don’t see either of those teams making it to the Finals.
^Oh ye of little faith.
These are still seven game series. There will be a buncha close games, but I wouldn’t just count the favorites out. Both teams should be worried, but I think Denver has a better chance of pulling off the upset then Orlando.
@Toucannon
LOL this is the only time I’ll ever laugh at being called snitch
lol @ Toucannon
We were all Alfamega’s last nite
I’d rather see Kobe-Bron, but if you’re talking good team matchups, it’s Magic-Nuggets all day. I think that would be good for the league as it would bolster both those teams’ appeal as well as the appeal of their respective stars.
@ Gotty™
I concur!
Quit lying. The Nugs vs Magic has NO appeal. Stern aint letting that happen.
Lebron put his hand down the jaws of defeat and pulled it out in the last second, all I can say is amazing, the belly of the beast got turned inside out right before our very eyes.
But all laments of romanticism aside, come on Magic, work the abracadabra, I know you can do it!
Yo I was at the barbershop this morning and as I was getting my cut, everytime I glanced at the TV, Sports Center was replaying it over and over and over and over…
Fuck the Cavs and the double-standard that Stern gives them.
In the first quarter (or half) Mo Williams got pissed after a hard foul and purposely chucked the ball at a Magic player’s back (possibly DH, I couldn’t tell from the distance I was watching it at) and DIDN’T GET A TECH.
Fuck. That.
If that was Rasheed, or any Pistons player, it would’ve been a definite Tech, at least. POssibly even an ejection. Rip gets teched for throwing his headband on the ground.
Those free shots might’ve won the game for the Magic.
THE NBA IS RIGGED.
Lol, I laughed @ that like “damn homie” & no the refs didn’t even consider a tech. Of course things are “favored,” but it aint all Stern. It’s the mob. That’s what my dad always said lmao.
From a marketing standpt, Magic-Nuggets = spreading the wealth & dispersing all your eggs from one proverbial basket.

riiiight, because Stern was reffing last night.
NBA referrees are definitely slanted against any team playing Cleveland/ L.A. . I’m rooting for Cleveland, but nonetheless, Lebron & Co. been getting away with murder on the court. LBJ done had at least 6 uncalled charges. And Kobe has been droppin elbows like Karl Malone as of late. Calls against them rare. Ticky-tac fouls againts the opposing team? Plenty. In two close finals series like we have now, that is disgusting. But hey we already knew this would happen, didn’t we?
all the conspiracy theorists are coming out of the woodwork today
Rigged or not, it’s hard for someone to make that shot.
So yeah, he’s the man.
Facebook was acting like it never saw a game winner before. hah
