I wanna read some thoughtful shit & well-constructed write-ups…people who are passionate about when they put pen to paper are who I tip my hat to. I got nothing but respect and admiration for the entire TSS staff, Dart, Dallas, etc.
Anybody can post up an mp3. That ain’t shit. And I don’t care if it’s an “exclusive”, that only means the blogger is good at sucking dick to get it before anyone else. Kinda like how DJ Clue did back in the day, all he did was politic his way into getting a record before anyone else, but his mixtapes always came off sounding like a pause-button mix that any retard could make. I’ve been visiting since the end of 05 when I came from another site who’s name shall not be mentioned.
And I’ve stayed.
I’ve made some honest to goodness real friends here (The always lovable K, Mr. DS, Sir Teef, The AZN HAX Queen Dioracat), I’ve participated in some good discussions (Flea, remember last summer when we got that pool pic of P? That still applies) I’ve listened to some great and not so great music, I’ve listened to some crap music, I’ve laughed about everything from Eli to Choppa and that suit, I’ve been heated over the police doing everything from messing with Contra on a monthly basis to the whole Oscar Grant murder, I’ve even had fun drinking coffee with you chaps in the morning while oogling The Cooler.
And through it all, I’ve always pointed people to one site, one place where… it’s always fresh.
