While the world rushes out to purchase Eminem, Method Man & Redman, Guru and Busta Rhymes’ new albums this coming Tuesday, one of our Hip-Hop megastars will be heading the opposite direction to do a year and a day in the belly of the beast.
Avon Barksdale always said you only do two days in jail: the day you go in and the day you come out. Apparently Clifford Harris thinks otherwise for he linked up with Polow Da Don and Mary J. Blige for this memoir for the fans.

i think if anyone could do it successfully it would be tip…so much cross over potential (another hit with Justin and he’s got a pop platform, plus his MTV series put him into a lot of peoples heads), plus the streets would hold him down because he’s doing a bid and on top of that, everyone loves a comeback story…definite possibility IMO
Naw man. Doesn’t make sense. He should do his time, come out and promote a big comeback CD properly.
Artist go a year and a half or more between albums all the time. He could do a full year take 6 months to record and promote and coast on the publicity to a double plat plaque or better.
And thanks to that extra day tacked on to his sentence he’s likely to do less than a year anyway. He just better hope he don’t cross paths with Alfamega while he’s behind the walls…
He’s re-releasing Paper Trail at some point during his bid. W/ some new songs or whatnot.
