When this hit the inbox with the subject “You Musta Forgot © Roy Jones,” I laughed & let the music play. After that, I spent a portion of the morning debating the finer qualities of this song, as I like a quality psuedo-dub track every now & then, even if this is a wee bit slow tempo.
I’m of the firm opinion that Santigold was merely a victim of timing & Americans ability to only focus on one foreign-sounding singer @ a time, a slot effectively filled by M.I.A.
