Certain songs dictate certain behavior and this track calls for late night cruising. Last night, I was out @ 2 a.m., up to no good and driving for no reason. On nights when I work the late shift, I tend to just drive around aimlessly or sit in the car and listen to music once I clock out. It helps me collect my though thoughts and decompress after a long day. The streets are empty and anything seems possible. And in a roundabout way, that’s what this song feels like.
6th Sense laced the beat something serious. The bass is dumb heavy and the synths somehow manage to sound angelic & demonic all at once. Punchline comes in and just kills it. The punchlines are obviously in place, yet he still manages to weave a little tale in as well. All within a succinct 2:09. Whatever he’s working on was no where near my radar, but if sounds like this, sign me up.
