I am not a gang aficionado of any sort. I know a lot of people who claim to be gang members and know even fewer who put in work in the name of a gang. But as I browse the net this morning, I’m reading various writers & (Lakers) forums up in arms because “J.R. Smith flashed a gang sign” versus the Lakers in last night’s Game 4. Sure, it’s the “gang sign” that’s got them angry, not the way he was raining 3′s on the Kobes last night.

Today is the day that my 20th mix mailer is released, and what a wonderful way to celebrate. Most of y’all have the day off and can sit back and listen to the newest addition to my LIVE mix collection. Every other Sunday I group up some records, make a playlist, mix them, record it LIVE, and then send it to you!
27 minutes of funk, this ain’t no junk. My favorite part of his mixes are the authentic feel to them. There’s an air & sound around his mixes as if you’re sitting on the couch while he spins in his mom’s basement, smoking L’s & relaxing. After a couple of puff puff passes, he brings together an almost unnatural selection of songs & says “watch me make this work”…then proceeds to make it happen.
