With “Hello,” Mikkey is coming with his first official single from his The Last Shall Be First EP that should be dropping in the not so distant future. Assisted by Don Cannon, the song itself is a certified banger with a hungry sounding Mikkey tearing the brass heavy beat to shreds with the ferocity of a shark that smells blood in the water. The chorus is a mix of celebratory chant from Halsted and the melodic crooning of a female vocalist that carries her own easily without taking the main attraction’s spotlight. The track is one that instills a feeling of triumph in the listener and has all the elements to make it a permanent fixture in even the newest fan’s play list.

If this is a sign of things to come, Mikkey will no longer be Uncrowned come 2010.
