Jack Splash Feat. R.Kelly & T-Pain – “Ringtone”
AUDIO By Gotty™ on May 31, 2009 at 2:21 pmAs a Jack Splash fan, I’ll overlook Kells presence on this jam. I feel like riding in a hot air balloon when I listen to this musical, its kaleidoscope of sounds — guitars, drum licks, syths, varying tempos — giving off a vibe that says “Go. Live. Life.” It may sound completely random, but do your diggin’ and learn yourself about Jack. Read one of the few interviews floating around online, check his production credits that go across all genres and then check out his Plantlife material.

this cut actually makes the molester sound tolerable.
“When She Lights The Sky” is one of my all time favorite songs.
*”When She Smile She Lights The Sky” i meant
and when i say that i dont mean the ghey ass house version that seems to be the only variation of the song on the web right now, i mean the OG version on the Return of Jack Splash album…
oh yeah, Gotty, I interviewed him back in 2004 or so. cool as hell. would share, but shied, even I dont know where that article is now. ahahha.
Crazy, cause I’ve been listening to The Return Of Jack Splash! kinda heavy this week.
Dope song but Jack should’ve gave Kelly’s part to Pain or somebody else and then this song would have an actual chance of being a radio hit.
I’ve never heard a Jack song on the radio. I’ve heard his production all over the place, but not one of him solo.
Mo G. – you got an mp3? I prolly know the song when I hear it & may have it @ the house. But if not, I’ll be requesting that sir.
I never heard of this cat before. Song is catchy, but I have a hard time listening to the pied piper – although 12 play and TP3 are two of the greatest R&B albums of all time.
I’m downloading his old stuff to get familiar.(Jack Splash)
any link to the OG version? cant find one.. thanks in advance!
I’ve never heard a Jack song on the radio.
==================================
Me neither, but with R. Kelly & T-Pain on a song together, you’d think that was the goal.
Whatever happened to the Jack Splash/Cee-Lo collaboration project The Heart Attack? The two tracks I heard were fire.
This is dope as fuck. It’s too bad they had to go and fuck it up by putting Chester on it. SMH
I forgot all about The Heart Attack shit. Man.
Jack is one of those dudes…think like Taz & Sa-Ra. He’s like a secret amongst other artists, critics & shit. You’ll rarely hear his name but he’s got bonafied hits (like A.Keys “Wreckless Love” & I think “Teenage Love Affair” & I want he has some J. Legend tracks under his belt). Plus, homie’s got a personality that’s larger than life lol. For real for real. And he’s a walking music enyclopedia. Name a song & he’ll tell you who played what instruments & some more Jeopardy facts. Yeah, I obviously love dude’s mind & his work, no pause.
I love his Plantlife stuff. I had “The return…” on heavy rotation for quite a while.
@ Don King. That heart attack stuff was from around the time the first Gnarls Barkley dropped. Things got a bit crazy I imagine.
This song is fire, Jack Splash is dope
