Since Jordan is determined to flood the market with releases, they’re bound to get it right eventually. More often than not, the better looks have come with the Jordan I. These come in a Midnight Navy/Varsity Red-Sail colorway and feature a strap, resembling the Vandal slightly, complete with the classic Wings logo. Hit the break for more pics.

Jumpman on the back ruins it for me.
These are kind of like my green and orange dunks, cept they are in blue and white with the Jordan logo.
Either way, still nice kicks, the material is real high grade too.
Meh. Definitely not the normal trash we’ve grown accustomed to, but still far enough away from purchase-worthy for me.
JB continues to disappoint. Can I be considered a real sneaker dude if I don’t own a single pair of J’s (anymore)? Joints lost their luster like no other brand I’ve ever owned.
Nah, I don’t have a pair of J’s in the closet either. Haven’t in several years. Even the ones I do like, I’m not loving enough to add to the rotation b/c they don’t always fit my style. I like these though. Simple & clean.
Man these are nice, Kyle Reese style.

JB has raped the fuck out of the 1 and basically destroyed all desirability for me. i dont even rock my 1s anymore.
ps- which is sad cuz the 1 is a classic & was my 1st love.
Last pair of J’s I copped were the White/Blue/Grey Spizike’s.
@ Gotty
Word. I guess I outgrew the Jordan thing, although I still think the majority of ‘em look dope. Once I graduated college I sold them all after I realized I hadn’t worn a pair in a good year or so. Funny thing is that throughout college I doubled up on damn near every retro release–Direct Loans ftw (ftmfl now).
Still slightly pissed I sold my ’99 V retros though. But hey, the $400+ they fetched on eBay was well worth it. J’s in OG colorways will always be nice to gaze at though, even though I’d never wear them now.
BP – Those are fresh. I like’em.
Trife – When I dumped all mine for the last time, it wasn’t even bittersweet b/c looking @ now, everything has been retroed to no end so everything’s attainable. Only ones I’d think about really rockin on a daily would have to be Cement III’s or blk/red IV’s.
Yeah, I feel that. My only gripe is that now the retros are E-Grade quality, so even if I wanted to buy a pair, I wouldn’t after I held them in my hands.
I think the Cement III’s are dropping later this year, if I’m not mistaken. And yeah, those blk/red IV’s were the one pair that was unattainable for me. Finding a DS size 11 was/is rare, and when I did my money was never right to drop $300-400.
I think y’all being kind of hard on JB. Retro Js are still better than many of the shits that’s out. Especially if you take in the fact that many of the shoes out use JB colorways, styles and materials. Here are examples of Some good JBs
