Here’s a glimpse into producer Marco Polo’s studio in Brooklyn. After two seconds you know this isn’t acutally “MTV Cribs,” but a bunch of people (including myself) had to click to be sure. After the deception, I quickly moved on and kept watching. I love when producers reveal that they go to the bargain bin to make their beats. However when asked does he make dollar beats, he responds “dollar crates, not dollar beats.”
Double Barrel, his collabo album with Torae, is dropping on 6.2.09 on Duck Down Records.
