I cannot get over the awkwardness of this sh*t. I mean it isn’t awkward in the sense they are all staring at each other. It’s just that Wayne on “The View” is just wacked out in general. We know he’s educated and that he can be well-spoken when he needs to be, but who is the hell is doing the audience profiling around that b*tch? Which members of “The View’s” audience is this supposed to cater to? Good for Wayne to try to appeal to mainstream but telling Joy Behar about your face tattoo or your love to smoke marijuana is never going to be an easy moment.
In fact, I’ve come to a revelation. First Whoopi defending weed and now Wayne making an appearance, saying it’s cool have now made me consider “The View” as the California of television. In light of “The View’s” obvious choice to condone the use of weed, I’m going to get on the phone with my local pharmacist right now. Middle-aged white women across the country, I suggest you join me.

Wayne’s teeth and that lil porkpie hat crack me up lol.
I saw a pic of Boosie the other day and he didn’t have a grill in. His teeth been shaved down so damn far lol.
Wayne’s teeth and that lil porkpie hat crack me up lol.

it seems likes every rapper that has done an interview in the last 3 years has dresses like Will.i.am—porkpie hat, t-shirt, vest/blazer, sorta skinny jeans…
it’s either that or the hoodie/baggy jeans.
no originality at all. just like the music. (sorry my inner hater-chris is coming out.)
i guess weezy is smarter than he looks after all…it was actually that katie couric interview that convinced me…i’m slowly joining the dwayne michael carter jr bandwagon like everyone else….
Two whoopie goldbergs…weird.
Remember when we posted that will.i.am interview & niggas was haaaaaatttiinnnn lol. Told you then that you had to pay attention to dude b/c all your favorite artists are. Everybody was all “yeah…but”.
Yes, I’m sitting here real smug right now lol.
@Deen… I was thinking the same..
@Canseco. It was that kaie couric interview that caught me too. He is well spoken but it is hard to take anybody seriously who has veined tattooed in their forehead.
I gotta say I check all his interviews after Ms. Couric’s
@ Gotty will. gets no luv in hiphop… maybe it’s cuz the pop world embraced him so quick, maybe it’s cuz folks dont know how grimy dude had it coming up or how much he struggled to find a sound, polish his game, etc. but yeah…
folks hate with a smile then snake dude’s whole style.
i’m not a huge fan per se, but he’s been holdin’ it down almost as long as most of everyone’s so-called “favorite” producers have (ie. Swizz, Tim, etc)
I think Lil Wayne has the potential to be a legend, if not already. No, I’m not a huge fan, but sometimes to me lyrically and just musically all together he hits that perfection; unfortunately the ratio of GREAT music to the amount of music put to the public is way too low. Personally, I think his catalog is way too deep; if we only got the cream of the crop, we’d see excellence. Others would argue differently perhaps with marketing or saturation. He is one that can put on a nice live show and can’t deny he surprised me on the I Am Music tour (as did T-Pain). One thing is apparent, love him or hate him, I think Lil Wayne is genuine and you have to respect his success, originality and lyrical ability; if not, ur just sleepin’ or hatin’.
Think for example, if you’d heard all the “unreleased makaveli” material that pac did BEFORE you heard the finished product of AEOM or Makaveli. Those albums may have not been as moving to you. After the fact, of course we want all we can get and may see things differently. Eh, totally different times etc etc, but it was the best comparison I could come up with. FTR I bought 2pacalypse now on tape when it was new as all his subsequent joints. Its just the majority of the “unreleased” material is after he got outta prison to DR.
Waynes not a dummy (no bromance). He actually went to McMain Magnet HS for gifted and talented students in NOLA
I agree with Chief78 some…Yea and you know what kills me about cats with some smarts is that you would think they never seen a fucking text book ever! That I will never respect because cats be out here flaunting this “psuedo stupid” swag like they slang weight, killed somebody etc. When in actuality they prolly personally knew 1 or 2 people who slanged weight, killed and never did ish…
Let’s not forget Wayne was PLAYING with a gun and shot himself! However, I remember he would try and make it seem like he got shot by somebody else and shit was so damn tough dudes was shooting his ass when in reality Wayne prolly didnt know what the F he was doing with a pistol…but in his rhymes he was the “Conn-o-suer” of those things…no need to lie to kick it…
“Ms. Katie, I AM A GANGSTA”…
**Mally looks in “Negro Please” sticker box, grabs 200 with a stick of crazy glue, wipes crazy glue on back of stickers, and proceeds to E.Honda “Negro Please” sitckers all over Wayne….**
Anotha Time,
