A video trailer? It wasn’t bad enough that cats were putting together Youtube commercials for mixtapes, but now we’re doing trailers…for videos. Odds are the video & the trailer will be the same duration.
Anyways, I wouldn’t bother you with this if I didn’t think that held some artistic merit. And this does, as it’s a different spin on things similar to Mos Def’s short clip. This feels like…visual liner notes, having the more personal parts read to me. I like it. DTP’s been pushing the experimental borders a little bit with their recent videos (remember the Playaz Circle joint?) and I like it.
