Looks like LC’s Detroit brethren knew she was feeling a little down after last night and put out some music to ease her pain. While on the final leg of their European Tronic tour, Black Milk and eLZhi sent her a audio care package over the Atlantic.
A quick fix to whet the palate for his upcoming project eLmatic, where just as it appears, he’ll be re-imagining Nas’ classic album Illmatic.
Worth the price of admission for the production alone. Throw in some rhymes and it’s good to go. Their not attached to any project (as of now) but it’s not like that matters.
So LC, scoop up some Coney Island and crack open a chilled Vernors. Stiffen that upper lip little soldier, things will turn around.
Fellas, can we get some full length tracks here soon?

This Snapdrive.net accout has utilized it’s daily allowance.
FAIL

ive been jones-in for this. elzhi is that dude.
Elmatic eh? sounds like a winner, and Black Milk…what can you say, the guy’s so far ahead of everyone at the moment it’s embarrassing.
Lol, that means yall listened to roughly 25gbs of streaming music today.
So that’s success ;)

Between this and Blu today… consider me healed. I have bathed myself in the waters of hip-hop Lake Minnetonka.
Black needs to be like Jake One and put a disc of just instrumentals to accompany his albums.

Speaking of stimulus packages in the form of music (I don’t usually plug shit here) but this album has been on almost constant spin on my computer for the past two weeks.
Finesse – Gone to the Moon
http://sharebee.com/1cc33ebf
Finesse is actually a kid a went to high school with and while that sounds like it would make a shitty album, trust me, it’s impressive.
I’d feel bad making this freely available, but it’s freely available on his myspace anyway.
myspace.com/yesitsfinesse (although I fixed up the tags on the sharebee folder for all of you that require perfect tags in your iTunes like I do)
If you’ve got room on your hard drive, give it a listen.
@ GD – checked out dude’s myspace…the couple songs i listened to weren’t bad…has a decidedly 808s and Heartbreak sound to it
@ sherm
I got that feeling when I listened to some of the tracks on the album too. Check out “Sax 5th” (although it’s called “My Sax” on his myspace), “Target Practice,” and “Stepping Stone.”
