Since it seems like LC has called dibs on “yacht rock,” I’ll start calling my smoothed out Hip-Hop submissions “Caramel Macchiato music.” This one is from SoulStice. Sure I don’t know anything about him. It showed up in the inbox, I liked it and that’s enough for me. Who I do know is Oddisee and he’s usually involved with only the goodness. Greater than that I know enjoyable music when I hear it.
This the first leaked track from the upcoming album entitled Beyond Borders, which SoulStice dubs an “international concept album” between the emcee and a Belgium producer named SBe. It’s soothing, natural Hip-Hop without being too smooth. And it’s a perfect balance to you OJ The Juiceman intake.

soulstice is from md, and he’s been working with oddisee for a good while. pretty sure i’ve seen some of his stuff on tss before, but here’s some of his past work.

Soulstice is amazing! He is definitely one of the most underrated in the game. He consistently makes great tracks with intelligent and thoughtful lyrics and fantastic production. Every hip hop fan should buy the above albums and support one of the best.
