Produced by T.I.? Had no idea he even produced.
Wares The Wayne Filling?…Major Pause
Wasnt this on that maybach season?
it all adds up – beats nice, lyrics pretty tight, yet still feels as empty as any ross track.
its that generic content. gives me the same feelin you always get from predominately ghost-writer assisted artists, like it was really written for no-one in particular, just the highest bidder, resultin in some shit thatl be easily forgoten in a few years.
and dude really does sound nice if you only hear him in small doses, plus his beats are the dopeness, so its understandable why he gets praise
One of my favourite rappers right now. He may be a liar, but he’s consistent!
@ done … most music is forgotten in weeks …. mainstream hip-hop is all commercial these days with little artistic content … same as most any other form of music. What matters is whether it’s a jam. Give Ross a chance!
T.I. probably walked into the studio, turned a random knob on the mixing board & walked out. there’s his production credit.
hey, puff made a fortune like dat.
RAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWSSSSSSS!

I can’ t believe that after this ninja was exposed as a CO people are STILL checking for his work??? I don’t give a shit how dope his music is, he’s fake. Even the REAL drug-dealer Rick Ross vehemently opposed the use of his name by this fraud. Talking that “Maybach Music” but won’t support your seeds? Fuckboy.
@Ragga,
thats the thing, i gave him a buncha chances, ever since “hustlin” (the track the only worthwhile runners production besides “money on my mind”, in my opinion) and despite knowing that technically hes got decent material (thats also always improving) it just doesnt grab me. at all.
’sides iv bumped some of the dumbest, most here today-gone tomorrow shit in my time, thats not exactly my problem wit ricky. he just bores me to sleep – “trilla”, i think not.
LOL @ CHISM BLOG
LOL @ K Strick
@ done, I feel you holmes, Ross does have that music that completely leaves your head once the track is over…I can think of a couple new jawns thats come out for this new project that sounded nice but I can’t even remember what he said in any of that.
@ Ragga, its ashame that we are in a place where the music is sooo disposable that we, the listeners have to bend(pause)over and take it.
A large group of us in the hip hop culture still rock 90’s and early millennium music this day but how much music will we carry with us from this time period….very little.smh.
and i never understand why the C.O. shit should always be brought up. who stopped jammin james brown or laughin at richard pryor when they discovered they beat their spouses? theres a loada other examples.
yeah, hes a fraud who built his whole persona on some bullshit and cant stop denying the truth (just probably, cos bein a c.o. doesnt neccisarily negate bein a hustler – even the clipse, the suppossed “realest of the real” made that point) but what does it have to do with the music, at the end of the day?
90% of these rappers are studio gangsters at least to some extent anyhow, whos to say they dont have similar skeletons in their gucci-stuffed closest, or would even handle themselves any better upon exposure? it really is just entertainment
meh, its just music.
lol @ khalid

==========
Brace yourself.
Wrestling is fake too.
And the Easter bunny, he ain’t real either.
I heard Down South Hustlaz aint on DTR, WTF? oh btw Bun n buck killed it imo
Only thing I ain’t like about the C.O. situation is that dude lied about sumn he actually did in his life.
Your job? Why front on that? That’s like lying about your kids. No shame in either…
I’ll never understand that, BUT other than that… the music is disposable and forgettable, but pretty damn good for the most part….like a Wendy’s single w/cheese.
“yeah, hes a fraud who built his whole persona on some bullshit and cant stop denying the truth, but what does it have to do with the music, at the end of the day?”
Absolutely nothing.
The music dude’s making is undeniable.
Deeper Than Rap will be 2009’s American Gangster.
Just think of it as a “concept” album lol.
I wouldn’t put it on Deeper Than Rap
“1-900-Hustler” >
yeah, rawse is a fraud…but he keeps playin the part and people keep eating that shit the fuck up…and he’s making some damn good music right now, which tends to help people look the other way
>>“1-900-Hustler” >
Is this even in question? lol
Man he doing his thang man making fire ass music i don’t give damn bout dude being a CO its only a job the ninjas was just a babysitter its not like he was out setting ninjas up and locking them up dude was just a babysitter dudes music is to damn consistent Deeper than rap is going be the hottest album to drop in 09 do yea thang CO ricky lol
i don’t give damn bout dude being a CO its only a job the ninjas was just a babysitter its not like he was out setting ninjas up and locking them up dude was just a babysitter

Just like cops, you have good ones & bad ones. CO’s can be on some foul shit, b. I just don’t respect that he’s continued to lie about shit & he appears to be delusional about the status of his credibility.
I don’t know if this has been posted

You ninjaz are real funny, talking about “what does Ross being a CO have to do with music?”, FUCKING EVERYTHING!!! He denied a proven fact, since when is that acceptable in hiphop? He’s acting/talking as if he’s Scarface, but his background says otherwise. If he accepted the evidence brought against him, like a man, then maybe I’d be more lenient an forgiving. Next y’all are going to tell me that if your favourite emcee who’s homophobic get’s caught on tape with a dick in his ass, and denies it, is still cool because his music is dope.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAWSS!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSS!!!!
great production though.
especially that Valley of Death…Toomp stay crafting awesome beats.
“yeah, hes a fraud who built his whole persona on some bullshit and cant stop denying the truth, but what does it have to do with the music, at the end of the day?”
Absolutely nothing.
==============================================
Then why did he lie?
That would be my one and only question.. if your about making the music and your the Boss, wouldn’t it be a positive thing to say I worked here and here until i was able to get up and do what I felt which is to make good music?
I don’t care if he starts to put out great classic music.. i will not support him at the register. EVER.
But he don’t need me he got maybach $$’s
His music is great. c.o. or not…. don’t really care about his other career b/c he made the right choice. he’s rich off of rap he took his career serious.
