This was kinda lost in the shuffle last week with the playoffs & NFL Draft going on, but 17-year-old Jeremy Tyler has decided to forgo his senior year of *drumrolls* high school to play pro ball in Europe.

Jeremy Tyler, a 6-foot-11 junior, has dropped out of San Diego High School and says he will skip his senior year to play professionally in Europe, The New York Times and Yahoo! Sports reported on Wednesday.

Tyler, 17, will become the first player born in the United States to leave high school early to play professional basketball overseas. He is expected to come back in two years, when he is eligible for the NBA draft.

As TMZ reports, the woman has stalked him and his family for years, claims that they are married and even legally changed her last name to Fisher.

It was the first day of a new school year.

Three boys arrive at class late and the teacher asks the first boy “Why are you tardy,” the boy replies “I’ve been on Blueberry Hill” the teacher said “Take your seat.” She asks the next boy why he was late. “I was on Blueberry Hill also” he replied. Then she asked the third boy, but he replied with the same answer. As the boys we’re sitting down a girl arrives in. “Let me guess”, said the teacher. “You were on Bluberry Hill aslo”

“NO…. I am Blueberry Hill” replied the girl.

This joke has been stuck in my consciousness since the first time I heard it, in third grade, and it sums up how I feel about “Say You Will.” It’s been co-opted and used by so many rappers, that you’d think the beat would be a little worn out by now. But just at the last minute someone comes through and adds another wrinkle to the equation.

Since they have a “Blackberry checkpoint” before entry, I wonder how many people get stripped of ownership of their cell phones @ the Oval Office?

When I went to the Wale thing the other weekend, I trooped solo, like I always do. LC seems to be in amazement that I generally go to every show by myself but the concept is simple. For one, there’s always somebody I know that’s going to be there since it’s not like Nashville’s true Hip-Hop community is a large, looming population. If there’s nobody I know there, fine as well. That means I’ll just go in, be a nondescript individual in the crowd & enjoy a live performance as if it were just me & the featured act. When it’s over, I don’t have to worry about finding those who rode with me (because I always drive, never ride unless it’s with Juan…because I know she won’t leave me).

But when I got to the door, the security guard told me “Yo, you gotta leave your hat. You can’t come inside with that.”
