Mike Posner Rocks Show W/ No Mic

If you aren’t hip to Mike Posner, you’re missing out.

Watch this video of him and G.O.O.D.’s Big Sean preforming “Smoke And Drive” and “Cooler Than Me” off his DJ Benzi & Don Cannon-assisted Matter Of Time mixtape. The sound actually cuts out during their second “Cooler Than Me,” but since the entire crowd knows every single word, you can’t even tell. For an artist without mainstream play, that’s pretty damn impressive.

On a side note, I’ve got a draft sitting from about a month ago about Mike Posner. It’s about how radio-ready the man’s music is and how his hometown of Detroit (by way of Southfield) can’t be bothered to show some local love. Since the video above is at Duke University, I think the Blue Devil student body has done the talking for me. WJLB, 102.7, 95.5, get with the program.
