lol @ Gotty – that Jada’s a little (read: a lot) heavy on the features and it sounds nothing like a new york record…but it’s still shits on 95% of the major label albums so far this year (i know, that doesn’t say much)…”kiss the game goodbye” was probably his best, and they’ve gotten progressively more jumbled and less cohesive from there…dude is one of my top five rappers alive…he’s just not great at crafting an album

If I never hear another Swizz track like the one on the album it won’t be too soon, but it’s a pretty good album to me.

Even over aiiight beats Jada still commands my attention and doesn’t recite sub-par rhymes but flows ill at all times. I think the reason that most of people don’t like the album is because they became fat off of a steady diet of D-Block mixtapes, thus were expecting a hardbody album full of gritty Y.O./N.Y. street bangaz.

I think Asher getting buzz because he got flow, and aint rapping from the same point of view as whats mainstream. The majority of the dudes on the radio are talking bout the same exact shit. Whether its their own fault or record label is another issue. But the fact that Asher can go mainstream with some shit that aint cookie cutter is why he gonna succeed. Different can sell…..
