“…Too $hort, Keak and Keisha Cole.”
Two of the raspiest voices in rap, Yukmouth and Keak Da Sneak, have hooked up for the lead single to the CEO of Smoke-A-Lot record’s upcoming album, The West Coast Don.
The track’s called “Da Town” and is an ode to their shared hometown of Oakland. It’s kind of odd to hear the former Luniz member using Auto-Tune on a track, but when you smoke like this, everything sounds like a good idea. Considering Yuk’s usually pretty thugged out, diehard fans might find this a tad different.
But for a single, it works.

*chuckle*…youre a few years late…you want TH, why not just go to your local mall? (HUFs alwys official though)…do yourself a favor and go to Recon, TRUE & Fatlace
anyways, as a diehard Yuk fan (i’ll be the first to say he has as much ability as Crooked I…he kills Crook on “Kalifornia G’s” off UGA Vol. 2…and murdered The Game in their exchanges) i must say that i dont like him using the auto-tune (C-Bo would definitely not approve) but this will get the yamps slappin in the club…and he needs a good nationwide single its been awhile since “5 On It” dropped
*plays “5 On It” while burning the “bedtime story”
REAL DOPE SINGLE !
Yukmouth is dope, I like the album that he did with Messy Marv called “100 Racks”.
The opening this song made me smile.
I could see dudes face as he spoke. Sounds like home.
The song…ewwww. I was a 3XTimes fan. But I am more partial to Keak than Yuk. Something did tickle me about hearing Kwik Ways in a rhyme.
True always has dope gear but sometimes there shoe game is sub par. Recon is pretty dope though.
