You heard the speculation and probably know by now that Crook claims that he got targeted unsuspectingly after being approached on the streets to drop a shout-out on a fan’s camera phone, and this is that first-hand footage. People say it looks like a set-up, which I’d rather not give my opinion on. Either way, watching it definitely gives you the chilly willies. Seeing someone that you respect so much in a spot where they’re completely vulnerable pretty much shows how nobody’s safe, no matter how much clout you may (or may not) have. You can’t live your life thinking that way, but it’s true.

Oh, and I read people in the comments of a certain forum discrediting Crooked I for ducking after the shots rang out and it left me disgusted. To anyone that thinks you’re less of a man if you take cover for your life when getting blasted at, you’ve got serious issues. Do yourself a favor and reevaluate your priorities.
