In your area, winter still hasn’t broke & no glimpses of spring yet? Think of Miami.
Warm skies. Sunny smiles. Glorious beaches. Then forget all of it as Flo-Rida, along with an team of “Dade County All-Stars,” wipe away all notions of pleasantries to display the grittier side (“palmtrees & quarter ki’s”) of the 305 on this track. But it’s only music so you can safely drop the top & let the bass ride out though.

But Texas is also really regional in terms of the music & the slang. Miami is way more accessable. Kinda like Atlanta, but on the water lol.

leela james – it’s a man’s man’s man’s world
well i didn’t know we were comparing regions lol.
Flo Rida is a superstar in the making. He’s beginning to slowly emerge as one of the top mainstream rappers. I see that Hip Hop/Rap is starting to move towards “electro-hop”, and Flo Rida is definitely doing his thing in that category. I’m looking forward to his sophmore album.
Hmmm, so is Trick Daddy persona non grata in Miami now? I realize he had a falling out with Officer Ricky, but it seems a little harsh to leave him out anything called “Dade County All-Stars”. He’s been reppin’ the MIA before everybody on this track. He also does the whole gritty street thing better than most of these cats.
As far as the track goes it’s pretty much “meh”. Personally prefer Pitbull’s “Defend Dade” more than this.
RMF…
No Piles neither, thank gawd…but I dont think Trick wants his name on this type of garbo!!
ps:
Tenn-a-Key region FTW!!!
ALL-star, MJG & Ball, Young Buc, & Yo Gotti….!!!!

Lol, guess you’re right about Trick. Noticed the absence of “Piles” too, lol. Was gonna mention it, but I think he’s reppin’ some other part of FL. Like Orlando or some shit. The more I think about it, don’t know why I give a rats ass about any of these fools…
RMF…
well i didn’t know we were comparing regions lol.

at least I have an opinion! lol, I could’ve taken the Jansport/Hater Chris route and just categorically dismissed ALL of The South, lol

im here in miami at school and i gotta say everything else about miami >>>>>> any of its music
cept maybe some classic trick daddy
These fuckers watched Cocaine Cowboys one too many times and are living out their Jon Roberts fantasies on wax. I’m from Miami and I’ma have to agree that I’d rather bump some screwed n chopped than this garbage, but Texas ain’t seein our women or beaches!
Not to jump off “track” but the track sounds dope. Any info on who produced it?
