Fabolous - “What It Look Like”
AUDIO By TC on March 17, 2009 at 5:50 amI remember, I was like 65% accurate on the predictions surrounding this album, but the hope for F-A-B to land an American Gangster under his belt has grown even stronger. Produced by not one, but two credible producers in Alchemist and DJ Khalil, this particular track helps build such anticipation.
But you know, like I know, when those Auto-Tuned-baby-I’ll-buy-you-whips-n-diamond-beget-earrings syrup serenades enter the fray, the project will be more disoriented than well… this guy.
Go tell him what you want to hear.

Glad Fab is back on something serious…. we need stability in this game … if I hear that Plies song where murders my favorite Deele song from the 80’s ONE MORE TIME ….there will be alot of slow singing and flower bringing
this producer is underrated. he needs an itw forill!

A Real Smoking Session with Dame Grease.
I don’t know what I think of this song. That can’t be good…
I suppose it’s an improvement over anything I heard on the last album.
Rambling bout nothing as usual……not anticipating
lazy flow on this one……step it up Fab
wow the beat is killer….but the flow is not fab at his top

Agree’d. I always say he should just be a model or a kardashian and get paid to show up to parties. Fab is the T-Mac of rap. Potential for days but verse’s are always injured. He ain’t sayin shit. Money, Whips, Chicks & Clothes-That’s it. This dude is 30 and ain’t sayin’ shit @ all.
@/U!!
When is this dropping? I was losing faith in the game. Loso now you know so!
I thought we all agreed to leave the word swag to the kids.
For me Fab is just a non-glorified Jay-Z. both have limited subject matter (in my eyes), but that witty word play that draws you in. Personally, i prefer Fab for the fact he makes it appear so easy. I honestly feel he could be a monster if he really wanted to but he’s caught in the middle. I’ve never checked for Fab’s albums but he puts work in when it comes to the mixtapes….

brand new fab ft the-dream (prod.by tricky stewart)
Sad that Fab is personally inclined to make songs for the ladies rather than spit bar after bar. I remember in that video with Joe Budden in the barbershop fab was saying he can’t just get all lyrical and go hard all the time because then he would lose his female fanbase. Fuck our lives as hip hop listeners.

what are you a fucking idiot jay-z has limited subject matter? man jay was right “Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?”
ugh: “d’evils” “can i live” “regrets” “imaginary player” “you must love me” “a week ago” “dope man” “this cant be life” “soon you’ll understand” “where have you been” “song cry” “some how some way” “moment of clarity” “lost one” “minority report” “success” ETC!
LIMITED subject matter? try UN-LIMITED subject matter. all with different SUBJECTS, concepts, flow patterns, etc.
i aint a stan, im a true fan of dudes music and a true fan of hip hop not a close minded hater.
on w/fab. fab is that dude. the idea of mixtapes are to prove your talent and your “rapping” skills. the idea of ALBUMS are to prove your likability, song crafting, and potential as a mainsteam/relevant artist. so i understand the moves Fab’s been making lately trying to put out chart topping music and show growth as an artist.
however as big as a fan i am of Fab’s i def prefer his music from ‘01-’04 but i still like the shit hes puttin out and that dj drama mixtape (there is no competition) still gets some spins here and there
nuffa this bull shit bout to go out and get my drink on, peace.
ps this tracks hot
