The net is weird place.
There’s no way I can say I know the man above any more than I know any of you.
But I knew Big Fame One.
Since 2001, we shared hundreds of conversations, online & off, about sneakers, substances, pistols, women, life…the whole spectrum. He was from the 206. He was a Gem and…you know when you encounter someone & the longer you know them, you know they’ve lived & speak no false tales? That was Fame.
Me & my “real life” homies commonly referred to our lifestyle when were young as “cowboying it.” You know, whiskey, women & shootouts, typical modern day Wild West. Fame was the only other cat online I referred to as a cowboy.
Peace BFO.

are you just paying respects or has he passed?
Common sense is telling me he’s passed. That and the link.
im sorry i was on my psp and the page was all scrunched up…my fault.
RIP to those that weve lost i took a couple bad L;s this year and its a universal pain we all feel at some point in our lives.
that’s homeboy from The Warfare Collective, right? peace & nuff respect…I don’t know him/them, but just from comments here & the blog it was easy to recognize the realness.
Sorry to hear of his passing.

Jake was the homie for years & years.
It’s weird to say considering I never actually met him. But when people talk about “the Blogger days,” me & him used to sit up & talk about graff, music, all types of shit to help come up w/posts. He was one of the early supporters who helped. There’s a countless number of them, even if you don’t see’em post here now, I still speak w/them on a pretty regular basis.
I met Jake via Gotty and TSS. Turned out dude lived less than a mile from me. We spoke more online than anything and never had a chance to meet face to face. We were always talkin about grabbing a beer together but it never happened. Keep that beer on ice for us homie, we’ll drink together in the clouds some day. RIP Big Fame One!!!
Jake is one of my best friends. There is no “real life” or “e-life” with a real friend… just life.
God I’ll miss him.
RIP
^ whattup Nick.
Send me the arrangements when you find out. Myself & a few others, of course we can’t make it, but we want to send flowers @ the very least.
My stomach’s been hurting since Retro told me. just smh man.
not to get on any preachy shit, but speaking of “real life”…if it’s any consolation to his loved ones & those that mourn his loss…at least he passed away while living life & pursuing what I assume was one of his passions…if that’s not a way to go out I don’t know what is….r.i.p.
Yeah, I’m all kinds of fucked up crying right now.
All I want to do is tell my friend I miss him. God damn it.
I’ll let you know once I find out… I’ll be driving up there.
RIP to Jake. He was like a big brother to me. I feel your comment Gotty about not having met people but being friends; that’s how it is with you and I and that’s how it was for both of us with Jake. Much love and respect.
I’m sorry for your loss, guys. God bless Jake and his family/friends.
This internet thing is still weird man. So many people I’ve never met but talk to on a regular basis. They really are friends, always thought that was weird to say but its true. Seeing things like this makes it realer than ever. Stay up TSS
yeah anything yall need fam, i’m down here in the 253 and frequent in the 206 often. didnt know homie, but TSS fam is my fam. RIP to the brother.
I didnt know him as many others have said but I feel the love through the comments. If there is one thing I can say to pull from this is that as much love we have for TSS and the fam who writes here, this should be a spark to develop something where folks can actually meet.
Albeit we are all in different parts of the country, an attempt to connect should be made so that we all can connect, share stories, laughs, trials and tribulations. Not to mention an opportunity to learn from each other.
I am truly happy that I had a chance to meet P, LC, L, and Jaycee this summer. We had a great time. Hopefully there will be more in the future. One.
Flowers for the living.
:(
my prayers go out to his family and friends.
R.I.P.
peace jake. many a cold ones will be poured for you for the rest of my life. wish you got to come down to cali like we had talked about.
