I’ve started the past two days by listening to Charles Hamilton. Not a good or bad thing specifically, but I think his grind is rubbing off and making me more productive.
Yesterday, he was getting jabs from a fan in freestyle battle. Today, he tops the unexpected with the unimaginable. Over a lethargic bassline, tight snares and symbols, the youngster sampled Clarissa Explains It All. Yes, you read that right. He parlayed the show with Melissa Joan Hart and the kid who climbed through her window into a whole song. A quite dope one, at that.
Say what you want about Sonic, just don’t call him unoriginal.
