Seriously though, the streets (the real streets, not the internet streets) are waiting for Cam’s return. I was talking to a customer at work on Saturday and somehow Mr. Giles came up. Dude hadn’t heard anything from him in 2 years and he was amped as soon as I mentioned that “Cam was working on new stuff.” So after a trip out to my car, he was off spreading the gospel to to the common folks.

A mixtape would dilute the impact of the album. Cam’s playing it smart. Piecing out songs & these low budget videos about every two weeks should keep his buzz strong till the album drops.
@ Amp: Not a mixtape with tracks from the upcoming album, maybe some freestyles over other peoples’ beats. Nothing too extensive, just brief and dope.
Mixtapes dilute everything. Including and most importantly, fan’s ability to properly absorb music.

I agree that while I love and do get the mixtapes,
They can dilute your attention away from the full experience that an album has to offer. Thet are best for downtimes.
