Maino’s checking in with an update from his song “Predictions 2009.” In all reality, he didn’t step too far out on the ledge with his predictions, but he got ‘em right (especially item #4) and that’s all that matters.

One thing I do know: I’d rather see something like this than a half ass “exclusive” freestyle to the beat du jour. Best case scenario: It picks up a little steam and he puts a few more videos out, then follows up with a good album. Next thing you know the Hip-Hop Psychic Hotline is up & running with Vivica endorsing it. Worst case scenario: His career stalls and he becomes the Skillz of New Year predictions.

Either way, he’ll be around for awhile.
