A while ago, I laid into Twista for his “Billions” blunder. Today, I’m happy to say that his new joint “On Top” is actually pretty fresh.

When I say fresh, what I mean is listenable.

The tags? Terrible. Akon on the hook? Played out, but you know, he serves his purpose. A La Bouche-sounding techno beat? Odd, but fitting for the quick-tongued emcee from Crook County. Twista actually flowing like the gifted individual we all know and love?

Priceless.
